Kaiser Wilhelm II, German Emperor

Wilhelm II was the last Emperor of Germany and he ruled from 1888 until 1918. Wilhelm II ruled both Germany and the kingdom of Prussia.

Conrad Freiherr of Hotzendorf was an Austrian Chief of Staff and the Commander in Chief of the Austro-Hungarian forces from 1906 through 1917.

Crown Prince Wilhelm III

Crown Prince Wilhelm III was the first born son of Kaiser Wilhelm II. He was the commander of the German 5th Army from 1914 through World War I.

He was nicknamed the Clown Prince by the British and American forcesdue to his lack of military experience. This postcard is titled "Unser Kronprinz"

Prince Eitel Friedrich of Prussia with Sophie Charlotte of Oldenburg

Prince Eitel Friedrich was a son of Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany. in this photo postcard he is shown with his wife Duchess Sophie Charlotte Holstein-Gottorp of Oldenburg. This postcard is untitled.

Prince Eitel was very active in World War I and was wounded in action at Bapaume, where he commanded the Prussian First Foot Guards. As an interesting note, he met Manfred von Richthofen (The Red Baron) during his time at the Eastern Front in WWI.

Prince Joachim Franz Humbert of Prussia

Prince Joachim Franz Humbert of Prussia was the youngest son of Kaiser Wilhelm II. This photo postcard is titled "Prinz Joachin von Prussen".

Prince Joachim commited suiside in 1920 because he couldn't handle the pressure of being in command after his father's abdication.

Augusta Viktoria of Schleswig-Holstein

Augusta Viktoria of Schleswig-Holstein was the wife of Wilhelm II. Agusta Viktoria was the last German Empress and Queen of Prussia. The title of this postcard is " Unsere Kaiserin".

And finally, Prince Oskar of Prussia was a son of Kaiser Wilhelm II.
